La Piazzetta hotel is the ideal place

In SUMMER, the mountain offers a wide range of paths and
courses, giving the possibility of outings high up in the
mountains. It is possible to reach on foot Rivisondoli
and Pescocostanzo, Campo di Giove, passing through the
age-old beechwood of Bosco di Sant’Antonio.
The seaside and Pescara are only one hour drive away.
Summer heat does not affect Roccaraso and is pleasing to
stop by in the open, perhaps at bar tables or in the confectioner’s
shops in via Roma, enjoying the coolness of the town.
There are numerous cultural and sport’s activities
organized for tourists by the town’s administration
and by the neighbouring towns, too. Not to mention the
various festivals dedicated to the wine-and-food Abruzzese
production.
AUTUMN then is unmissable, because of its shades of the green in the Piano delle
Cinque Miglia, for its incomparable colour palette of the beechwoods ranging
from yellow to brown, passing through all shades of orange and red ochre. It’s
the season which inspires the artists.
